English Olympics 2011

We are proud to tell, that we’ve won the first place in the English Olympics 2011.
Last November our English teacher Mrs. Ingrid Heinisser, MSc asked us, if we would like to attend the competition. We loved the idea and chose four students. Agnes Hohenthanner, Katrin Schöndorfer, Nicole Loibl and Ronnie Parzer were the ones, who went to Klosterneuburg on May 25th.
We had to go to twelve stations, like listening, science, history, general knowledge, reasoning, arts and writing. Our favourites were miming and small talk with Curtis, a very nice black basketballer from Tennesee. And, of course, all the morning until 12.30 we only spoke English.
The victory ceremony was more than thrilling, as we knew that the other competitors were very good.
Now we know that we’ll attend the English Olympic federal competition in Böheimkirchen on June 7th.
